As we head into the cooler months, we wanted to share a few updates and reminders about services available at the clinic and how we can support you and your whānau.

Flu Vaccinations Available from 1 April

Flu season is just around the corner, and our flu vaccines will be available from 1 April. We encourage patients to get their flu vaccination, particularly if you:

  • Are 65 years or older
  • Have heart or respiratory conditions
  • Have certain long-term health conditions
  • Are immunosuppressed

Menopause & Peri-Menopause Support PathwayWe have a dedicated menopause support pathway for enrolled patients experiencing menopause or peri-menopause symptoms.

  • Dr Hannah has a special interest in HRT, menopause diagnosis, blood tests and ongoing management.
  • Tina, our Wellness Advisor, works alongside this pathway and can help support you with symptom management and lifestyle changes to help you feel your best.

If you’ve been struggling with symptoms or have questions about menopause, we’re here to help.


Health Coaching

Our Health Coach is available to support patients who want help with:

  • Healthy eating
  • Exercise planning
  • Lifestyle changes
  • General wellbeing and goal setting

This is a great service for anyone wanting support to make positive health changes.

Diabetes Support

We are very fortunate to have Rebecca, our Diabetes Nurse Specialist, available at the clinic on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Rebecca can help with:

  • Diabetes medication reviews and management
  • Ensuring you’re on the best treatment for your needs
  • Education and support for living well with diabetes
  • Answering any questions about your diabetes care

Podiatry ServicesOur Podiatrist provides:

  • General foot care
  • Verruca and wart removal
  • Postural assessment and alignment support

He has a particular interest in helping patients with posture-related problems, including hip, knee, ankle, foot and back pain.

Childhood Vaccinations

Is your child up to date with their vaccinations? If you’d like us to check your child’s vaccination status or need an immunisation certificate, please email our nursing team at:

Doctor Appointments Available

We’re very pleased to currently be fully staffed with our doctors, which means we have good appointment availability.

A friendly reminder to please keep Urgent Care for accidents and acute illnesses where possible. If you’d prefer to avoid the urgent care wait, you can book a doctor’s appointment instead.

Smoking & Vaping Support

If you’d like help quitting smoking or vaping, our Health Coach or Wellness Advisor can provide support and practical strategies to help you quit.

Extended Consultations Available

We offer different appointment lengths depending on your needs:

  • 15 minutes – Standard consultation
  • 30 minutes – Extended consultation
  • Some doctors also offer 40-minute extended consultation appointment at the usual extended consultation rate.

If you have multiple concerns or more complex health issues, we strongly encourage booking an extended consultation. These are great value and allow time for a more thorough, holistic discussion with your doctor.

Appointment & Payment Reminders

  • A PayWave surcharge now applies to contactless payments.
  • If an appointment is cancelled with less than two hours’ notice or you do not attend, a DNA (Did Not Attend) consultation fee may apply.
